A captivating world of lakes, rivers, estuaries and beaches unfolding against a backdrop of forests and mountains. Hugging the town of Wilderness, the park offers you the chance to explore hiking trails, hire a canoe, go abseiling or try paragliding.
Ebb-and-Flow Rest Camp in the Wilderness section of the Garden Route National Park is always my first stop, a place that constantly delights. Swimming and paddling in the river, watching the crimson flashed of Knysna turacos flitting through the trees, walking the trail to the waterfall. It is always difficult to leave.
