I absolutely loved this book. I was right there in Africa with Sharon Pincott, hearing, smelling and seeing it all. It was not all good but that is Africa for you. I am more aware, more commited, more excited, and more profoundly sad about how some of those trying to do so much good in this world can be treated. It is the best written wildlife story I have read in a long, long time. Thank you.
I also enjoyed this book immensely. We need wildlife heros like this, there is no doubt. There are so many who are unsung who need to take a leaf out of Sharon Pincott’s book (so to speak). Share your stories, share all of your joys and grief. But most of all, stay safe. It can be a greedy, evil world out there and wildlife is too often at the bottom of the barrell. Those like Sharon tough it out for more years than most of us ever would. Congratulatons on a great achievement and a great read.
