This reserve is only one hour south of Durban and although slightly inland, it boasts a clear view of the ocean. Eland, blue wildebeest, zebra and bushbuck roam freely amongst grassy plains. Birders can enjoy the abundance of birdlife around the two dams.

Main attractions

  • The beautiful views of wooded slopes, open grassland ridges and the ocean

It’s the kind of place where you can drop in with littlies for an hour or two after the school run, making time in the natural wild a regular part of their childhood.
