Situated in the northeastern corner of South Africa, this reserve encompasses a collection of special ecosystems. The veld type called Golela is an important breeding habitat for suni antelope. Spend a pleasant morning exploring the reserve on a self-drive game viewing route followed by a picnic at one of scenic sites alongside the dam.

Main attractions

  • Fishing on the dam
  • Resident colony of white –back vultures

Why travel as far afield as Chobe to catch tigerfish when you could be doing it right here in South Africa? Granted, the fish aren’t quite as big, but the river fishing is world class.
