World-renowned Kruger is the size of a small country, offering all of Africa at its best. It’s home to an impressive number of species as well as historical and archaeological sights. A visit here is one of the must-do things in life. It’s worth getting up early for a sunrise drive and the chance to see the inhabitants of the bush start their day.
After dinner, sitting in the hide, the only sounds were natural ones and the only lights were from the fireflies in the riverbed and a scattering of stars. I was in a special piece of Kruger, for my eyes only.
