I attended a screening of the festival last year and having seen the exceptional films that were shown in 2011, I was very excited to see what lay in store for 2012.
 
The nine short films have a bit of everything from snow sports to extreme kayaking, bouldering and mountain biking, all filmed in breathtaking scenery.
 
My favourite was watching Origins, a story of a nine-year-old and her tutor proving that age has no limit when it comes to taking on daunting boulders. Some of the films like Sketchy Andy can be quite nerve wracking to watch, be prepared!
 
Screenings are incredibly popular – make sure you get a ticket to be a part of the action before it’s too late.

The films are presented as a single screening once daily from 26 October – 1 November 2012 at selected Ster-Kinekor cinemas across the country.
