Photo safari with Roger and Pat de la Harpe
It really was the experience of a lifetime. In 2011 we announced that the winner (since disqaulified) and first runner-up of the Amarula Capture the Sunset competition win a five-day photographic safari at the luxurious Jaci's Lodges in Madikwe Game Reserve. Well now that the safari is over, you must be curious to see some of the photographs taken by our runner-up whilst on his prize safari...
Roger Lee was the first runner-up in our competition for this beautiful sunset photograph he took over False Bay. His prize included a safari under the guidance of professional wildlife photographers Pat and Roger de la Harpe.

Here's a taste of some of the spectacular photographs taken by Roger on his safari in Madikwe:

Roger says:
"A very big thank you to Wild Magazine for running the Capture the Sunset competition and to Amarula for sponsoring the prize. Another big thank you to Jaci's Lodge in Madikwe for providing a wonderful experience and to Roger and Pat de la Harpe for running such an inspiring photo safari!
It really was the experience of a lifetime. Paul, our ranger and driver was really excellent and we had sightings of rhino, elephant, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, wild dogs, lion and many more. Many of the animals were seen in large numbers along with their young, just amazing!"
