There are more than 150 different species of snake in South Africa – some venomous, some harmless to humans, but all with their own place in the ecosystem. Dr Bryan Maritz of the University of the Western Cape has been studying snakes for 10 years and will share the latest insights in his presentation. Find out how a citizen science tool is filling the gaps in our knowledge about snakes.
