Cute and curious, otters are adorable characters, but count yourself lucky if you see one. Join us for a presentation by Nicola Okes to learn more about these shy creatures and their way of life in the Cape Peninsula.
Since 2012 Nicola has been studying Cape clawless otters on the peninsula. Her research seeks to uncover how these wild animals survive in an urban environment. By understanding their needs, scientists hope to protect the city rivers and wetlands the otters, and other creatures, depend on.
